SACRAMENTO (KABC) -- Dramatic surveillance video shows a terrifying home invasion robbery in Sacramento in which a group of eight men held up an elderly couple in their home.

The armed robbery was one of four to hit the same area of Sacramento early Thursday and detectives are looking to see if they are related.

In the video, the suspects can be heard asking the male homeowner where the money is in the house and accusing him of lying when saying he doesn't have any more.

The victims, both in their 70s, said the eight men approached them as they pulled into their driveway. At least one had a handgun. They stole the victim's personal property.

In the other three incidents in South Sacramento, the victims were similarly approached as they pulled into their driveways. The number of suspects varied.

In one incident, four suspects were involved, while at nearly the same time, two were involved in a separate robbery in which one suspect punched a victim in the face before stealing his property.

In another incident, two men confronted a woman as she pulled into her garage and they demanded money. She said she didn't have any and she called for her daughter, as the suspects fled on foot.

Sacramento police asked anyone with information to contact them at (916) 264-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
