No sex, flirting or vomit: Uber releases new rules for riders

Uber released new guidelines for passengers on Thursday, and those who don't follow the rules can get banned from the ride-sharing service.

The guidelines are specific to passenger behavior and focus on topics such as safety, vandalism and sex.

The complete set of rules are as follows:

Damaging drivers' or other passengers' property: Breaking or vandalizing phones and other property, intentionally spilling food or drinks inside the car, smoking, or vomiting -- due to being too drunk -- can get you kicked out.

Physical contact with riders: Passengers are not allowed to touch or flirt with other people in the car, including the driver, as there is a "no sex" rule. The company said it has a zero-tolerance policy on sexual conduct. Also, passengers should never hit or hurt a rider.

Use of inappropriate/ abusive language or gestures: Passengers must not ask overly personal questions, threaten a driver or making sexual, aggressive or disrespectful comments or gestures.

Unwanted contact with riders after a trip is over:Texting, calling, or visiting someone in person after a ride is completed is not allowed.

Breaking the local law while using Uber: Passengers must not force drivers to speed or break other traffic laws. Riders will also be banned when using Uber to commit crimes such as human and drug trafficking and sexual exploitation of children.
