LAS VEGAS -- Two lovebirds are facing felony charges after authorities say they were caught having sex on a glass-enclosed Ferris wheel cabin in Las Vegas.

Phillip Frank Panzica III, of Houston, and Chloe Scordianos, of New York, are charged with committing sex acts in public.

Police say they were aboard the famous "High Roller" Ferris wheel and got a little too cozy during their 30-minute ride 550 feet above the Las Vegas Strip

Authorities say surveillance cameras captured the act, security warned the couple to stop, and people in another car shot cellphone video.

Images haven't been made public.

The couple allegedly ignored requests over the intercom to put their clothes back on. Both were arrested.

Panzica's attorney, Bennair Bateman, declined comment.

Scordianos' lawyer, Chris Rasmussen, says his client believed the couple had an expectation of privacy.
