2 juveniles reported missing near Venice; family, LAPD ask for public's help

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Police Department and the families of two missing kids are asking for the public's help to find the young girl and boy.

Ashley Montes, 12, and Timothy Jacob Reed, 14, were last seen on Saturday around 4 p.m. near Mark Twain Middle School in Venice. Both families are assisting the police with the investigation and search for the kids.

Ashley is described as Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 80 pounds.

Timothy is described as Hispanic, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
